Requirements
An appropriate National Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management/Development or an equivalent qualification at NQF Level 6, as recognised by SAQA. A minimum of 3–5 years’ relevant experience is required, of which at least 3 years must be at Assistant Director level, performing capacity-building management and/or stakeholder coordination.
A sound understanding of the local government environment, as well as training and development, will be an added advantage.

Duties
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing policies and implementing action plans for capacity-building training and development programmes. The role includes coordinating capacity-building training for learners and municipal staff, as well as facilitating the rollout of programmes aimed at strengthening the capacity of local government to plan, deliver, operate, and maintain infrastructure.
