DEPUTY DIRECTOR: CHANGE MANAGEMENT

Salary: R896 436 – R1 055 958 per annum (all-inclusive remuneration package). The successful candidate will be required to sign a performance agreement.

Centre: National Office, Pretoria

Requirements:

  • An NQF Level 6 qualification, as recognised by SAQA, in one of the following fields:
    Industrial and Organisational Psychology, Management Services, Operations Management, Human Resource Management, Public Management, or Public Administration.

  • A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a Change Management environment at a managerial level (Assistant Director).

  • Knowledge of corporate governance and policy frameworks.

  • Sound knowledge and understanding of Change Management systems.

  • Knowledge and understanding of Public Service statutory frameworks, including:

    • Financial management and regulatory frameworks/guidelines

    • Public Service Act and Public Service Regulations

    • Treasury Regulations

    • Departmental Financial Instructions

    • Public Finance Management Act (PFMA)

    • Government initiatives and decisions

Duties (Key Performance Areas):

  • Manage and coordinate the design of Change Management plans, strategies, processes, and frameworks.

  • Manage and coordinate the design and implementation of department-wide change interventions and programmes.

  • Manage and coordinate resistance to change.

  • Facilitate and manage capacity-building Change Management workshops.

  • Manage human, financial, and other resources.
