SALARY:
R1 813 182 per annum (Level 15), all-inclusive remuneration package.
- The package consists of a basic salary (70% of the total package), the State’s contribution to the Government Employees Pension Fund (13% of the basic salary), and a flexible portion that may be structured according to personal needs within an approved framework.

REQUIREMENTS:
An appropriate Degree in Finance, Built Environment (Engineering), Law, Public Administration/Management, or an equivalent relevant qualification at NQF Level 8, as recognised by SAQA. A minimum of eight (8) years’ extensive experience at a senior managerial level is required.

In-depth knowledge and understanding of infrastructure planning; programme and project management; municipal infrastructure planning processes; comprehensive infrastructure plans; spatial planning and Provincial Growth and Development Strategies; local socio-economic infrastructure; and the construction industry.
DUTIES:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

Overseeing the provision of technical support and capabilities to enhance the delivery of municipal infrastructure programmes.

Coordinating technical support and assistance to municipalities in conducting infrastructure assessments and analysis.

Coordinating the provision of technical support and expertise for municipal infrastructure delivery, planning, maintenance, and land-use management services in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

Coordinating the development of technical skills to support the delivery of municipal infrastructure programmes.
