DIRECTOR – MONITORING AND EVALUATION

Nature of Appointment: Permanent

Purpose of the Post:
To manage, facilitate, and drive the delivery of organisational performance monitoring and reporting services and processes.

Salary:
R1 266 714 per annum (Level 13).
The all-inclusive remuneration package consists of a basic salary, the State’s contribution to the Government Pension Fund, a medical fund, and a flexible portion in accordance with applicable rules.

Centre:
Pretoria (Hatfield)

Requirements:

  • An appropriate NQF Level 7 qualification, as recognised by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA), in Monitoring and Evaluation, Business Administration, Business Leadership, Operations Management, or an equivalent relevant qualification.

  • A minimum of five (5) years’ experience at a middle or senior managerial level within an operations management, strategic planning, monitoring and evaluation, reporting, or compliance environment.

Duties:

  • Manage the review and design of robust policies, processes, procedures, and governance structures to enable the delivery of integrated monitoring and evaluation services and programmes.

  • Manage the maintenance and operationalisation of the Departmental Monitoring and Evaluation Plan and system.

  • Oversee the development of departmental monitoring and evaluation reports.

  • Manage the assessment of the Department’s effectiveness and efficiency in supporting the achievement of service delivery outcomes.

  • Advise and assist with monitoring the execution of the strategy and reporting on business performance to support the achievement of departmental objectives and vision.
