Nature of Appointment: Permanent
Purpose of the Post:
To manage, facilitate, and monitor the implementation of strategies and programmes that create an enabling environment for digital transformation.
Salary:
R1,266,714 per annum (Level 13).
The all-inclusive remuneration package consists of a basic salary, the State’s contribution to the Government Pension Fund, a medical fund, and a flexible portion in accordance with applicable rules.

Requirements:
An appropriate NQF Level 7 qualification recognised by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) in Public Policy, Digital Development, or a relevant equivalent qualification. A minimum of five (5) years’ experience at a middle or senior managerial level in Public Policy, Digital Development, or a related field.

Duties:
The successful candidate will manage the development and implementation of digital transformation strategies, programmes, and initiatives that promote equitable access to digital infrastructure, skills, and services. The role includes implementing and monitoring digital development programmes aimed at bridging the digital divide and enhancing digital literacy across sectors.
